THE BOYLSTON COLLECTION, PART IV Ex D.L. Hansen Collection, as noted on the insert. A notable condition rarity, despite a mintage of nearly 1.2 million pieces, the vast majority of these disappeared into circulation. A frosty luster gleams on both sides accenting the CHOICE surfaces and well struck devices. This is also a date that even in Mint State grades is somewhat lackluster, as evidenced by the fact the highest approved by CAC is a single MS61. Fewer than 10 are graded higher at PCGS. PCGS 10, NGC 5. It's been five years since an example sold, realizing $3,720. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $4,500.
