Lot Description

Lovely uncirculated survivor from a mintage of 700 coins. The 1873-78 Trade dollar proofs are much scarcer than the 1880-83 (proof only) issues and are much harder to find. Lovely mirrors and sharply struck devices are bathed in patina of pale gold.
