1870-CC Seated Liberty Half Dollar. WB-101. Good-6 (PCGS). Heavily worn, yet problem free, this piece exhibits richly original toning in a mostly charcoal-gray hue. The devices are more lightly patinated. Generally smooth, with even wear that leaves all major design elements fully discernible. The first CC-mint Seated Half Dollar, the 1870-CC is also one of the rarest with only 54,617 pieces produced and a high rate of attrition suffered through circulation.
