Description du lot: Awesome contrast! Blinding, brilliant mirrored surfaces gleam with a remarkable flash. A very early strike from these dies, as there are lots of die polishing lines all over, especially around the letters of the reverse. Well struck devices have a marvelous, thick, creamy frost. The contrast between the reflective fields and the velvety frost of the devices, gives this 85-CC a great Cameo-like appearance. While a strong glass reveals a couple of very superficial ticks, the eye appeal approaches that of a full GEM! PCGS 478, NGC 184, CAC 70. The last one to sell in auction was back in 2017, when a coin that was not as clean sold for $1,410. Today, the market for Carson City dollars is hot. The current CAC CPG value is $1,880.
