1890-S Liberty Head Double Eagle. AU-58 (PCGS). CAC. Vivid honey-apricot color and pinkish-rose iridescence delivers outstanding eye appeal. Mintage for the 1890-S was 802,750 pieces and thanks to repatriations from foreign bank hoards that began in the 1950s, the 1890-S is now regarded as a plentiful issue in grades up to and including MS-62.
