1901-O Barber Half Dollar. MS-63 (PCGS). A lovely Choice Mint State example of this notable condition rarity, seldom seen in finer grades and quite elusive in Gem condition. Most of the obverse stars show radials that are full or nearly so, but the reverse also shows isolated areas of strike softness. The eye appeal is strong, with orange-gold peripheral toning adding interest to otherwise brilliant surfaces. A nice choice for the discriminating Barber half dollar specialist. PCGS# 6490.
