1911 Indian Half Eagle. EF-45 (PCGS). Although PCGS has certified this coin as a circulation strike, and that is how Stack's Bowers Galleries is selling it in this auction, close inspection with a loupe reveals that this piece retains the fine-grain texture of a Sandblast Proof 1911 half eagle within much of the Native American's portrait and the eagle.
