1884 Seated Liberty Quarter. Proof-66 Cameo (PCGS). CAC. An attractively toned Gem proof 1884 Seated Quarter. This piece exhibits a totally different toning scheme from side to side. The obverse presents medium golden colo, slightly deeper at the border; the reverse is a mottled mismesh of crimson-red, russet, and gunmetal-blue. The surfaces are basically free from bothersome handling marks, the devices and legends are sharply impressed, and we note plenty of field-to-device contrast.
