- Description du lot
- FROM THE SEATTLE COLLECTION The J-1050 is another Longacre Liberty Head inspired nickel design with a bust of Liberty similar to the three cent nickel design, mated with a retrograde V in a wreath. Struck in nickel with a plain edge, this coin is R-6-. This is the FINEST example extant. Bold, watery reflection in the fields, accented a pale blue iridescent tone that is a true delight. Well struck and very nicely preserved, this coin has a great look. PCGS 1, NGC 3, CAC 2. The last PCGS-graded coin sold in February 2003! Unpriced in Collectors Universe, the coin that sold a generation ago brought over $4,000 and the last NGC coin brought $3,760 in April 2017. As the FINEST PCGS graded example we know this beauty will see strong bidding for sure. Cert. Number 38530349 PCGS # 61309.00
