- The K.C. Collection. VAM-1B, Top-100. The famous "Scarface" obverse is so-named on account of a lengthy die crack that slices through Liberty's lower cheek. the cataloger believes this to be an exceptionally late die-state, as the crack extends right into Liberty's shoulder, and several die chips have formed at the separator between E PLURIBUS. Surfaces exhibit brilliant, aluminum-white luster with plenty of mint frost, and a number of noticeable abrasions scribble into the obverse left field.
