Description du lot: Lot 391 1890-O. NGC graded MS-66 Prooflike. CAC. PQ.Well struck and fully white with boldly reflective fields and frosted devices. The surfaces are immaculate, with nary a nick or a tick to be found. While Prooflike Morgans hardly elicite a raised eyebrow among the collecting crowd, the same people stand up and cheer when a prooflike coin pops up in MS-66 as the surfaces are remarkably clean and the eye appeal with the bold mirror fields is simply amazing to behold. The surfaces truly make the coin here, with the delicate mirrors so well preserved and pleasing to examine. A most challenging combination to find, especially so for the 1890-O, and tied with one other as the finest seen of the prooflike designation.
