1856-C Liberty Head Quarter Eagle. Winter-1, the only known dies. AU-53 (NGC). An attractive straw-gold example of this scarce and ever popular Charlotte Mint quarter eagle, a variety of which just 7,931 pieces were minted, or less than 1/600th of the Philadelphia Mint production.
