1855 Round 25 Cents. BG-226. Rarity-5. Liberty Head. MS-63 (PCGS). OGH. Lustrous yellow gold with rich orange highlights. We note some faint vertical reverse scratches from the viewer's left tip of the wreath downward across DO and the 1 of the date. Die State II: ""Heavy break joining coronet to 5th and 6th stars (die bulge breaks out), shattered reverse, explaining early discard and rarity.""
