1912 Indian Eagle. MS-65 (NGC). Frosty in texture and boldly struck from the dies, this handsome example also possesses attractively original patina in rich rose-orange. One of the more common Indian eagles in terms of total number of Mint State coins extant and popular with Gem type collectors as a result. Scarce any finer than MS-65, as here. PCGS# 8871.
