Lot Description

Undated (Circa 1663-1672) St. Patrick or Mark Newby Halfpenny. Vlack 1-B, W-11540. Copper. Reeded Edge. Good-6 (PCGS). A well-worn red-tan example, not noticeably marked despite its lengthy service as a circulating coinage medium. Much of the central detail can be seen, though the peripheries are weak in places. Brass splasher intact and partially on the crown details. Choice for the grade and a nice entry level colonial coin. PCGS# 46.
