Description du lot

A small percentage of the 5,708,760 half eagles struck in the Philadelphia Mint during 1881 are overdates, providing a clear value opportunity for the collector. With Mint State coins scarce from a condition standpoint, the present offering for a condition rarity in PCGS/CAC MS-63+ is sure to see spirited bidding among astute gold and variety collectors.
