Lot Description

A desirable early draped bust type coin with the large eagle reverse. A much scarcer date than the more common 1805 and 1807 boasting a small mintage of just over 33,000 pieces. The present coin retains a lovely original gray color. A few scattered marks at 3 o-clock are toned in and are not noticeable in-hand.
