Lot Description

Among the FINEST graded examples in the BN designation, but to call this coin "brown" does it a disservice. The mirrors are bold and glittering and although toned down, there is an exceptional reflection. Shades of iridescent toning grace both sides, giving it a fantastic look. Only 500 are thought to have been struck in the final year of issue. PCGS 6, NGC 5. The last coin was CAC approved and realized $5,170 in the 2016 ANA auction. The market today is somewhat stronger, and the current CU value is listed at $6,250. With just a single PR66+ BN finer in the category. Cert. Number 35103896 PCGS # 3654
