1859 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. WB-101. Type I Reverse. MS-65 (PCGS). Secure Holder. A sharply struck half dollar with variegated original patina across each side, in a combination of earth tones and brighter iridescent hues of coral-red, electric-blue, and turquoise. An attractive, well preserved Gem example of this Liberty Seated issue, and a rare issue at this Gem grade level.
