The MIST Collection. 90 graded PR-64, 50 higher at PCGS. It has been said that circulation pieces are often "more prooflike than the proofs" for 1885, but that would be a poor reason not to view and appreciate the remarkable level of sharpness attained by this marvelous off-white specimen. Minimal haze may slightly lessen the cameo effect, but perhaps it can be safely removed by professional conservation. Struck to the usual incredible precision of detail, right down to the straps on Liberty's sandal.
