- 1834 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-109. Rarity-1. Small Date, Small Letters. MS-63 (PCGS). Otherwise pearl-gray surfaces exhibit subtle pink undertones and, in isolated peripheral areas, more highlights of iridescent olive-blue. Sharply defined overall with a lustrous, pleasingly smooth appearance that will appeal to both Mint State type collectors and advanced early half dollar variety enthusiasts. PCGS# 6166.
