1942/1-D Mercury Dime. FS-101. AU-58 FB (PCGS). CAC. Sharply struck throughout with nearly full luster, this impressive near-Mint survivor is nicer than many low end Uncirculated 1942/1-D dimes that we have handled over the years. Both sides are lightly toned, the obverse in pale iridescent gold and the reverse in slightly bolder champagne-pink. Premium quality through and through, and worthy of the strongest bids.
