Lot Description

This is a great collector grade for a perennially popular Buffalo nickel variety, and a lovely Choice AU coin with original tan-apricot patina engaging both sides. Strike detail is nearly complete and confirms above average manufacture with particularly notable definition at the bison's head and shoulder on the reverse. Lustrous and virtually blemish-free, we anticipate a strong realized price for this PQ 3-Legged Buffalo.
