1788 New Jersey Copper. Maris 77-dd (DS1), W-5535. Rarity-3. Running Fox Before Legend. VF-30 (PCGS). 138.0 grains. A very handsome early die state Maris 77-dd, with even and pleasing dark steel brown surfaces. Evenly granular but not distractingly so.
