1870 Round 25 Cents. BG-808. Rarity-3. Liberty Head. MS-68 (NGC). A simply incredible specimen of this variety, tied with one other for finest graded at NGC, and the single finest that we have offered, beating out a pair of MS-67 examples, one PCGS and one NGC, that we sold in 2012. The eye appeal of this coin is as amazing as the technical quality of the surfaces, the color is a rich honey-gold and the luster is thick, frosty, and totally undisturbed by marks.
