1774 Machin's Mills Halfpenny. Vlack 5-74A, W-7760. Rarity-4. GEORGIVS III. VF-20 (PCGS). The deep golden-brown surfaces are faintly microgranular under a loupe but surprisingly free of distracting marks of any size. The devices are strong where struck, and the eye appeal is substantial unto the given grade. A relatively rare variety from the Machin's Mills facility on the shore of Orange Pond in upstate New York. Choice for the grade.
