1879 Hawaii. Kahului & Wailuku Railroad Token. 12 1/2 Cents. Medcalf-Russell 2TE-8. AU-53 BN (NGC). This piece seems to be misattributed on the NGC insert as TE-4Aa. Deep reddish-copper patina to both sides, the major devices clearly discernible despite less-than-perfect centering for the strike. There are no blemishes of note, and wear is overall light and hardly of concern.
