1825 Capped Bust Dime. JR-2. Proof-63 (NGC). Fully brilliant with reflective fields and lightly dusted motifs. We note light carbon streaks across Liberty's portrait and in the right field. Weakly struck in some areas, including in Liberty's curls at her neck and brooch, and on the reverse throughout the eagle's neck, the sinister side of the shield, the sinister wing, and at the arrow feathers and both talons. Proofs of the date are rare.
