FROM THE DR. STEPHEN DAVIDSON COLLECTION What a beautiful, bold, and vibrant RED GEM. Totally original surfaces are beaming with a strong reflective mirrored brilliance. The eye appeal is exceptional and superior to so many examples in this grade we have seen. Only 600 Proofs were struck. PCGS 45, NGC 12, CAC 9. The most recent example sold in June 2021 for $2,880. The CAC CPG value is listed at $2,750 and the PCGS Price Guide is at $2,600. Just 20 have ever graded higher in the RD designation, this coin belongs in a great GEM set of two cent pieces. Cert.
