1860 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. Proof-62 (NGC). CAC. A predominantly brilliant specimen with enhancing blushes of reddish-apricot iridescence at the borders. This early U.S. Mint Proof half dollar issue is far rarer in numismatic hands than a mintage of 1,000 pieces would imply, as many of those coins went unsold at the time and were later released into circulation.
