Forebear Consignment. Marvelous and utterly charming as an original example, luminous greyish golden hue shines through the patina. Both dies had advanced die cracks when this ten was struck, yet still they managed to create strong definition overall once the viewer accounts for thirty points of wear. The cataloger does not recall seeing an 1891-CC, the most common date, struck off dies that were so close to failure, making this coin a great pick-up for the Carson City specialist.
