On Target Collection. Fletcher-4 "1874/74" repunched date. 1 graded PR-66+ CAM, 5 higher at NGC. All proof shield nickels prove extremely elusive in the top grades, with literally a mere handful known to be nicer than PR-66+ CAM at NGC. The surface jumps for joy as ultra-fine matte texture percolates through the fields, contrasting just slightly against marvelously accurate details. The shield nickel series is replete with varieties, this one showing nice repunching at "74" in the date.
