1803 Draped Bust Dime. JR-3. Rarity-4. VG-10 (PCGS). A mostly silver gray example with glints of russet patina here and there around the peripheries. Wispy hairlines and a somewhat glossy texture are noted for accuracy, but with most devices boldly outlined and clear this is a suitable, if more affordable circulated type candidate from the challenging Draped Bust dime series. JR-3, while scarce in an absolute sense, is the most frequently encountered of the five known die marriages of this date. PCGS# 4473. NGC ID: 236L.
