Description du lot
1805 Draped Bust Half Dime. LM-1, the only known dies. Rarity-4. AG-3 (PCGS). Dominant pearl gray patina with intermingled blushes of steel toning, both sides have lost portions of the design to wear. The date is discernible, however, with the top of all four digits clear. Much of the word LIBERTY and the legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA are legible, and Liberty's portrait is near-fully outlined. Certainly a respectable AG example of this single die marriage issue in the Draped Bust half dime series. PCGS# 4272. Click here for certification details from PCGS. Image with the PCGS TrueView logo is obtained from and is subject to a license agreement with Collectors Universe, Inc. and its divisions PCGS and PSA.
