- 1868 Round 50 Cents. BG-1008. Rarity-5-. Liberty Head. MS-65 (PCGS). Tied for finest certified at PCGS, this is a conditionally rare example of a type that is moderately scarce in an absolute sense. A rich-looking piece, both sides exhibit even khaki-gray color with a tinge of deep-rose coming into view at certain angles, especially on the reverse. Satiny in texture with nary a distracting blemish.
