1802 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. BB-242, B-5. Rarity-5. Wide Date. VF-25 (PCGS). An overall boldly defined VF with light, mottled reddish-gold highlights to otherwise dominant silver gray patina. By far the rarer of the two die marriages of the non-overdated 1802 dollar, BB-242 has an extant population of only 75 to 140 coins in all grades (per Q. David Bowers, 2013). PCGS# 40087.
