C-1, the only pair of dies used to strike the 129,694 half cents in 1853. This is a GEM housed in an old green tag holder. Deep, rich brown surfaces are satiny smooth and the devices are razor sharp imparting a great look. PCGS 66, NGC 116, CAC 35.
