1824 Matron Head Cent. N-4. Rarity-2. MS-64 BN (PCGS). A lovely Choice Uncirculated example of this scarcer issue in the Matron Head cent series. Mottled olive-brown and medium brown patina blankets surfaces that exhibit considerable gloss. Generally satiny in texture, direct lighting calls forth modest semi-reflective qualities in the fields that further enhance this coin's visual appeal. The borders are fully denticulated, and both sides also possess sharp to full striking detail over the central design elements.
