1836 Capped Bust Half Dollar. Lettered Edge. O-110. Rarity-1. MS-63+ (NGC). CAC. Handsome, fully original surfaces exhibit mottled golden-russet toning over a base of softer pewter-gray. Both sides are satiny and smooth in hand, the strike well executed throughout. This may be a common die pairing of the final year 1836 Lettered Edge half in an absolute sense, but with the quality offered here examples approach Condition Census. PCGS# 6169. NGC ID: 24G2.
