Lot Description

BB Die State IV (B-18a). Each side of this lightly worn example displays a combination of sea-blue and dove-gray patina in a somewhat moderate fashion. The dies used for BB-193 are unique to this variety, and a quick glance at this coin will reveal why. Each side is adorned with dramatic clash marks and die breaks, including arcing cracks through the obverse stars and intense clashing below OF on the reverse. A scarcer die pairing of this ever-popular Bust silver dollar.
