Die State 106.1. Satiny and otherwise brilliant surfaces are dusted with delicate champagne-gold iridescence. Some striking softness is seen, both in the centers and at the peripheries, although this is a characteristic often seen in late date Lettered Edge Capped Bust half dollars. Well composed and smooth for the assigned grade, Mint State type collectors will find much to admire in this 1834 Overton-106. This is the popular Large/Small 4 variety of the date.
