1917 Standing Liberty Quarter. Type II. MS-67 FH (NGC). Dusted with pale champagne-pink and powder blue iridescence, this enchanting Superb Gem displays smooth, softly frosted luster. Razor sharp striking detail enhances the appeal; this is simply a beautiful coin to behold. The Philadelphia Mint's initial delivery of the Type II design amounted to 13,880,000 coins. Survivors are populst for type purposes, although generally in grades of MS-65 FH and lower.
