Lot Description

A formidable rarity in Superb grades (PCGS and NGC have combined graded two examples in MS-67), thus we suspect there is much duplication at the MS-66 and MS-66+ level in hopes of obtaining the ultimate grade. This is a wholesome and totally original premium Gem with dappled slate, violet, and olive-gold toning over satiny, lustrous surfaces. Crisply delineated devices rendered from a crisp, forceful blow of the dies. An eye appealing example for sure, one that is hard to improve upon for the advanced Registry Set collector.<p><p><p><p>
