Lot Description

Gorgeous toning! The robust cobalt and brown of the obverse strikes the eye with tenacity. The devices are enveloped with the slightest number of violet undertones which are speckled throughout the fields. The strike of the devices is exemplary, the reverse containing fantastic contrast, exemplified by the periphery’s strongest ring of blues. The surfaces are immaculate with no distinct marks. PCGS 9, NGC 2. The PCGS Price Guide of this coin lists it at $1,050. The only PCGS example of this grade to sell in auction realized $930 in January of 2019. Cert. Number 36387209 PCGS # 2405
