Lot Description

As with the other issues of 1921 for the half-dollar, the '21-S is almost always seen well-worn, commonly in the AG to Good range. This example possesses an utterly original pewter-grey appearance that is both well-balanced and delightful. The reverse has become draped in greyish sheen a full two shades darker than the obverse, no doubt due to placement in an album.
