- 1899 Liberty Head Quarter Eagle. Proof-60 Cameo (PCGS). Fully struck, satin-textured devices contrast markedly with deeply mirrored fields on both sides of this vivid golden yellow specimen. Similar in rarity to the Proof 1898, the Proof 1899 quarter eagle has an extant population of approximately 100 coins from a mintage of 150 pieces. PCGS# 87925. NGC ID: 288N.
