1917-D Standing Liberty Quarter. Type II. MS-66 (PCGS). Speckles of vivid crimson-russet and rose-orange colors decorate a base of warmer "old-silver" patina, the reverse the (somewhat) more vivid of the two sides. Billowy mint frost with nary a distracting abrasion in evidence. PCGS Population: just 19 in this category; with a lone MS-67 finer.
