Lot Description

Grellman Die State c. Iridescent lilac-brown patina dominates on an obverse that retains hints of pinkish-rose mint color in the protected areas, while the reverse is generally bright pinkish-rose with just a hint of similar toning. The surfaces are lustrous, satiny, and free of mentionable blemishes apart from faint carbon spots on the latter side. Conditionally scarce for the type, and a lovely Gem Mint State example for the quality conscious collector.
