1805 Draped Bust Half Dollar. O-113a, T-1. Rarity-4+. VF-25 (NGC). A patina of olive and lilac hues complements the dove gray surfaces of this scarce example. The definition is uniform and pleasantly sharp throughout, showing good detail to Liberty's hair and profile. Any stray marks have been long worn into the overall complexion, and the eye appeal is strong for the assigned grade. Provenance: From the Sutton Court Collection of Early Half Dollar Varieties.
