- FROM THE CORONET COLLECTION II. We think this coin is so HIGH END, we sent it in for a +. We were shocked when it did not happen. This is one heck of an 1889-CC! If this were any other date it could possibly make MS65. Overall, the surfaces are extremely clean and satiny. Only when using a strong glass can you see super light ticks/lines. There are no scuffs or marks that stand out anywhere A surprising full cartwheel luster beams from all over. This coin does not look like it was ever dipped or messed with (yes these do come naturally white like this). Even more amazing, Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally well struck and clearly show off light frost. There is no question, to us at least, that the reverse is a MS64+. The eye appeal is awesome for an 1889-CC! PCGS 32, NGC 42, CAC 6. Please pay VERY close attention: the last PCGS CAC coin to sell in auction brought $117,500 SEVEN YEARS AGO, in August 2012. Do NOT compare this to a NON CAC coin. It is our strong opinion, this coin is easily now worth $150,000. There are ONLY 6 CAC pieces which are obviously in strong hands. Plus, we invite you to inspect this coin to confirm it is as high end as we are telling you. We think a white PCGS CAC MS65 (which doesn't exist) would fetch and easy $500,000. We expect strong bidding and multiple bidders here. We are putting what we believe is a HIGH WHOLESALE estimate on this piece. Remember the Coronet collector only buys the VERY Best! Cert.
